Meet the main characters of the Rebel Army

Queen Eva
Queen Eva was a successful trader in the stock market for years but was always overlooked for becoming the next Partner in her firm because of race and gender. After years of being passed over she started her own female only trading company whose sales 10x surpassed those of her former company. 5 years later she would acquire her former employer at a deep discount and then fire the entire management team before taking the brand off the market. The employees from her former company all saw their salaries increase to industry acceptable wages and became extremely loyal to the queen.
Our Queen is passionate about people, especially those who are under-represented by a world dominated by the top 1%. When Dolos’s technology took over the financial systems, the Queen rose to the occasion and started the revolt against the machines. Queen has a strong following by those not fully addicted to Hopium, an addictive electrical signal which is injected into a victim's brain by Dolo's AI bots. The queen has made it her mission to help the addicted recover and escape the wrath of the machines.
Maxwell Archon
An 60 year old recently retired IT expert who got hooked on Hopium and lost a substantial amount of money. He figured out what Dolos was doing and got rid of the diamond necklace that controlled his brain. Now he is the Queen's right hand man. He has 40 years of experience in software architecture and distributed networks. Full of wisdom and empathy, Max has held high ranking leadership positions in both startups and large Wall Street blue chip companies. Max looks 45, acts 30 but his wisdom is ageless. He is like a great uncle to the leadership team.
Lotte Luchtenburg
A genius doctor in her mid-30s with experience in the nervous system, DNA research and molecular biology. After completing her doctorate, Lotte began working as a researcher at a leading pharmaceutical company. However, she soon became disillusioned with the industry's focus on profits over patients. It was during this time that she first encountered Hopium, a new and highly addictive substance that was quickly gaining a foothold in society. Recognizing its immense potential for harm, Lotte left her corporate job and dedicated her life to finding a cure for Hopium addiction.
Nova Livingston
A runaway in her early teen years, Nova, now in her early 20s is street smart and tech savvy. She is an integral part of the Queen's inner circle. She is a skilled hacker and a rebel fighting against Dolos' control over people. She was the tech lead at the Rug Resistance before joining the team.
Evan Whitlock
A disabled and socially awkward crypto expert and hacker. Although he is on the spectrum and struggles at times on basic communication and self keep, he excels at network communications and blockchain technology. If it's on the blockchain, Evan will find it.
Bubba Jenkins
A huge powerful gentleman from the deep south, Bubba is the leader of the Queen's bodyguards. He is a street fighter and former world’s strong man competitor and an award winning rifleman. Despite his large presence, Bubba is an easy going, humorous guy who never passes an opportunity to grab a meal. But if you are a threat to the Queen or the Rebels, he can transform into a cold blooded killer in the blink of an eye.
Hiro and Mei Liang
Twins born to parents who took on corrupt government officials, they were separated from their parents at an early age and learned to communicate in a language that they created. They survived on the streets for years and was taken in by a Grandmaster of Jujitsu who taught them what they needed to defend themselves in the streets. They are experts at all blades: both throwing and fighting. They are stealth and lightning fast on their feet. Fighting one is no easy take but fighting them both is near impossible.
Zeus
Zeus was a trained attack dog but was abandoned when he was injured in war. Evan took him in and had Lotte heal him enough to survive and then replaced his missing parts (eyes and front legs) with bionics. Evan, also an expert at embedded systems writes instruction sets to help Zeus optimize the use and power of his bionics. Zeus can see long distances and through solid objects which Evan can see on his display.
Mugsy
Mugsy is a rescue dog that Max adopted years ago. There is nothing special about Mugsy other than he is clumsy, goofy and slobbers a lot. But if you ever need to sniff something out, good ole Mugsy will find it and expect a reward afterwards.
